My experience with english and my course expectations

I'm Daniela Rodriguez and I am 22 years old. I'm studying psychology, I live in Guadalupe, San Jose but I'm from Barquisimeto, Venezuela. I have 2 years of living in Costa Rica, and I'm married to Andrius Verde who also studied here in ULACIT. My experience with English is good. Since I was a child, my dad taught me the alphabet and songs related to English, and I liked it. But, we never took the English so seriously. In my high school, I don’t learned so much English, however in 9 grade, I went to a spelling bee in a bilingual school, but I didn't win because I mistook between B-E-T-T-E-R and B-I-T-T-E-R hahaha.

I used to listen music in English, in fact I think that all I know is due to the music and the TV series that I used to see. So, for me is very easy to understand what people say, and is easy to speak like the American people do, but is difficult to me to understand the grammar and to speak correctly, almost nothing hahaha. I really love the English, but it bores me to much have to study grammar.

My expectations are:

  • Have a better comprehension of the grammatical
  • Improve the verbs conjugation
  • Refresh the general basic rules
  • Solve any doubt about the grammatical because is the last English that I will see in university.

For my English is an easy language, but as in all things, I need to take the time to really learn, and I think that will be the hardest, during the quarter. Well I thought I was good in the pronunciation (I think that is the only thing I'm good with English) but this video showed me that I'm not hahaha.
